Jack Mirabella, MSW
Jack Mirabella (they/them) is a Baltimore-based an attorney and macro social worker. They specialize in shaping public policy to promote health equity and reduce health and wealth disparities for historically excluded communities. In addition to their day job working for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s Office of Minority Health, they also provide pro bono consulting services for Trans Maryland, and pro bono legal services for children with disabilities and their families. Prior to their current role(s) they spent a number of years working in the nonprofit sector as an advocate for economic policies that benefit low-income and marginalized communities. They have been teaching financial social work and legislative advocacy courses through the University of Maryland School of Social Work since 2016.
