Dr. Shannon R. Jordan, LICSW-C, LCSW
Dr. Shannon R. Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice, program administration, and organizational leadership. Her expertise spans child welfare, family and federal courts, high-risk offender services, co-occurring disorders, substance use treatment, and criminal justice interventions.
She is the Founder and Director of iHeal Wellness, a private practice dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance/alcohol use disorders. Through iHeal Wellness, Dr. Jordan integrates evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, client-centered philosophy of care.
Previously, Dr. Jordan managed the Superior Court Drug Intervention Program in Washington, DC—an intensive pretrial initiative supporting individuals facing drug-related charges. She has facilitated a wide range of evidence-based groups, including Relapse Prevention, Living in Balance, Thinking for a Change, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–based interventions. She is also an experienced trainer, providing professional development in Motivational Interviewing, Case Management, Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, and Diversity and Cultural Awareness in the workplace.
Dr. Jordan earned her PhD in Human Services from Walden University, a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. She is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Missouri, and the District of Columbia, is a Board-certified Supervisor, is a Mental Health First Aid National Instructor, and an active member of the National Association of Social Workers–Maryland Chapter.
