This training will focus on the Code of Maryland Regulations governing Clinical Supervision.: The following domains include: Licensure Levels, Education, and Supervisor’s Experience. The role and responsibilities of the clinical supervisor/supervisee and contents of the Clinical Supervisory Agreement. Key terms will be highlighted that impact positive clinical care: Clinical supervision, counseling, face-to-face, therapeutic deception, informed consent, teleconference, and impairment. Additionally, appropriate protocol to address possible ethical dilemmas and the importance of guidelines for proper termination of the clinical relationship will also be explored. This interactive training utilizes case study reviews and group exercises. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences as a supervisor/supervisee.

Annette Solomon received her MSW from Howard University School of Social Work. She is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Level I Certified Investigator: Abuse & Neglect. She has years of experience in clinical supervision, domestic violence, child and adult protective services, and juvenile justice. Ms. Solomon is a Senior Training Associate with Inspired Consulting Group.
