The panelists will discuss their experiences, challenges and best practices around building a private practice. Attendees will also receive valuable tips on branding, marketing, and establishing a niche for their practice.

Victoria D. Stubbs, LICSW, LCSW-C, is the owner of Inner Truth Psychotherapy and Wellness, LLC a private practice located in Baltimore that serves clients in Washington, DC and Maryland.  Inner Truth Psychotherapy & Wellness, LLC was created as a way for Victoria to combine her 20 plus years of social work experience with her 10 years of teaching experience and her intuitive abilities in order to offer a healing and growth space for all who seek it.  Victoria’s practice provides individual and couples therapy, clinical supervision & professional consultation, reiki and mediumship sessions.  She is also the author of Untangled: A Black Woman’s Journey to Personal, Spiritual and Sexual Freedom.   

Victoria received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Women’s Studies from Syracuse University, her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Howard University and her Reiki Master Teacher Certification from Gentle Hands Reiki in Laurel, MD.

Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, MCC, MSW ‘88 is a licensed clinical social worker and an internationally recognized master certified coach. Author of six books published by W.W. Norton, she lectures on the topics of business development for therapists, new methods of psychotherapy, and coaching. She has over thirty years of experience as a psychotherapist in private practice, in addition to working as a business and executive coach. Her articles on the business of therapy and how to bring a coaching style into psychotherapy appear in national publications. She is past Vice-President of the NASW Metro Chapter (2011-13) and immediate past-President of the Greater Washington Society of Clinical Social Workers (2020-22.) Lynn is a member of the Cosmos Club, nominated as a Distinguished Social Worker. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work (1988.)

Seanté is an investment property owner, resource-giver and the owner of Wealth Esteem, . Trained as a Clinical and Financial Social Worker, she is passionate about helping those who are in, or have overcome, financial hardships (self-inflicted or not) and wants to set boundaries, be fulfilled, and live life on purpose. Wealth-Esteem was formed through her own lived experience of transforming from having transactional relationships (family, friends, and foes) to having authentic, fulfilling relationships with her money and the people around her.

 

Seanté earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Carolina, College of Social Work and her undergraduate degree from the esteemed Wilberforce University -the oldest private Historically Black College/University (HBCU) in the country. She is also a trained Financial Social Worker, completing two Financial Social Work Certificate programs offered by the University of Maryland, School of Social Work and the Center for Financial Social Work.  She has been a licensed practitioner in Maryland since 2006.
