Rosalind Munyiri-Wilson, LCSW-C
Rosalind Munyiri-Wilson received a BSW degree from Morgan State University and an MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Rosalind is a LCSW-C who has provided services to individuals in a variety of community-based programs. Rosalind has extensive experience providing services to individuals and families experiencing financial insecurity through her work with the Department of Human Resources. Rosalind has provided assessment and clinical support to individuals and families experiencing mental health crises as a clinician in a Walk- In Crisis Center and on Mobile Crisis Teams.
Rosalind currently serves as the Social Work Manager for the University of Maryland Population Health Services Organization (PHSO). This program was developed by the University of Maryland Medical System as an interdisciplinary collaboration with the UMD School of Social Work and the UMD School of Pharmacy. The PHSO Social Work team works collaboratively to provide integrated behavioral health services as part of an interprofessional care management team comprised of primary care providers, nurses, and pharmacists. The team assesses the impact of social determinants of health on patient well-being, identifies major social and behavioral threats to health, engages and motivates patients to develop treatment options and goals that are congruent with their identified psychosocial needs.
