The University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. We are also approved to offer CE to Licensed Counselors and Psychologists. Clinicians in other states should verify with their licensing Board. Charlene Davis, MSW

Charlene Davis, MSW, currently works at Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital. She has over 40 years of experience in healthcare. She has a deep understanding of the intersection between healthcare delivery and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Charlene has served in the following positions: medical social worker II, regional lead social worker, and director of social services. She has 13 years of long-term care experience in nursing homes. Charlene’s mission is to help meet the complex needs of people and enhance human well-being. Charlene has been conducting workshops since 2010 for various organizations. She has a certification with the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition, Charlene participated in a video on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias for The Beacon Institute and Innovation Horizon.
