The University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. We are also approved to offer CE to Licensed Counselors and Psychologists. Clinicians in other states should verify with their licensing Board. Celestine A. Owusu, M.A.

Celestine A. Owusu, M.A. is a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she supports both research and administrative efforts within the EQUIPS Lab and the Strive for Wellness Clinic. She recently earned her M.A. in Developmental Psychology, where she explored how cultural dissonance and identity factors intersect with mental health outcomes among emerging adults. She hopes to extend that work into exploring psychosis risk, with an emphasis on person-centered, community-driven, and culturally sensitive early psychosis care.
