Carol G. Velandia Pardo, CHI, PMP, MBA, MSW, is a dynamic leader and passionate advocate for language access, language rights, and language justice. As an award-winning curriculum developer and the founder and CEO of Equal Access Language Services and Unheard Voices, she has played a pivotal role in advancing equitable access to services for multilingual populations across the United States.

 

A key accomplishment in her work is the creation of the interprofessional Curriculum: Effective Inclusion through Language Access, a groundbreaking educational program taught to organizations and institutions. Carol envisions this curriculum as a catalyst for a cultural shift, embedding language accessibility as a cornerstone of true inclusion. By addressing the needs of nearly 26 million multilingual individuals in the U.S., her work has a profound impact on improving outcomes in healthcare, justice, and education.
